Sephora Haul

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
So I went into Sephora today just to buy some Make Up Forever's Mist & Fix make up setting spray
and ending up buying everything other than what I went in there for.
I did however, get some really good stuff. I need to make a trip to the M.A.C store soon because I
desperately want more Fix +Lavender and I wanna try M.A.C's magically cool foundation.

I purchased ILLAMASQUA's top coat, which I really like so far. I think I'm going to get some more of the nail varnishes.
Jo'mina is a really beautiful lavender purple colour that i think looks AMAZING on any skin complection.
They're kind of expensive for nail polishes but they last and they're really brilliant with colors.
I also purchased some new Sephora Blotting Papers which I desperately needed.
Philosophy's Cocktail Party Trio: Senorita Magarita, Mimosa, & Melon Daiquiri. Each on is 6fl oz. The set was only $18. What a steal ! This collection is a 3-in-1 product. Each Cocktail can be used as a shampoo, body wash, or shower gel and all three smell amazing. I first fell in love with philosophy back in 10th grade when i had almost every lip gloss flavor. My favorite has definitely has to be Vanilla Birthday Cake. It not only smells amazing but it tastes good too.
I also picked up Sepora's Super Nourishing lip balm which i can tell i'll be using as a lip primer. Too Faced Glamour to Go palette. I wasn't going to buy it at first because i'm not really a fan of Too Faced but for only $19.50 i figured why the hell not.

Its got 8 eyeshadows, 4 lip glosses and 1 blush in a compact case. The packaging really caught my eye which is why i picked it up and then when i opened it i was blown away. I had to have it. I don't know the name's of the shadows or lip gloss in this mini palette but I swatched them for you to see. These colors really pop on my dark skin which I like a lot. I brought some Sephora Lashes called ShowStopper, only because the sales associate that helped me were rocking them fiercly so I figured I can rock them just as well.
Lastly, I brought Pacifica's Coconut Crushed Pearl luminizing body butter. It's really shimmering so you only need about a dime-sized on each leg. I can't wait to used this when I go to the beach. It smells amazing and leaves a nice shine on the body. If you don't completely massage it into the skin it will remain white.

Unfortunately i haven't had the privledge to swatch this nail polish for you guys yet but the minute i do, I will definitely post it. :)
Mattese Elite is Ricky's Own brand of cosmetics.
Happy Hour is the newest collection in nail varnish that is SCENTED! It's this summer's hottest trend. This colors are funky, fun, bright, and did i mention they smell amazing!
I own Tequila Sunrise, I'm not really sure what scent it is. I believe it's orange.
Apple Martini is apple scented, Hypnotic is blue raspberry scented, Cosmopolitan is strawberry, Shirley Temple is bubble gum scented and Purple Passion is grape scented. The only con about these polishes is that they're very sheer. I used 3-4 coats on one nail just to get an opaque look. It doesn't work well with Shatter Polishes either. The scent lasts for 2-3 days and is just $5.99. It's fun, affordable and trendy. You can find them at any Ricky's NYC locations or buy them online. I hope you try them out. If you do, email me the pictures at colourmebonita@gmail.com and I'll post your swatches on my website.
If you have any questions or want reviews on any other products email me with the subject line "Product Review" and i'll get back to you ASAP. I'll be posting new tutorials soon so i'll keep you posted ! Thanks for visiting.

M.A.C Made Up

This has become my signature look lately and I wanted to share it with you all.
Products Used:
M.A.C's EyeShadow Primer in BamBoom
Coastal Scents 88 Matte Palette
M.A.C's Eyekohl in Black
Maybeline's Falsies Mascara in Noir
Wet N' Wild's Black Liquid Eyeliner
Mint Eye Kohl liner from Spehora's Collection
M.A.C's Skin Refresher Fix + in Lavender.

Avon's Magix Face Perfector Primer
Avon's Ideal Shade Mineral Foundation Powder in Toffee

Mattese Elite Blush in Pink Lady

Prevail Small Crease Brush
Prevail Fluffy Crease Brush
E.L.F Medium Eye Shader Brush

To Get This Look::;

After applying my primer and foundation,
I used M.A.C's paint pot in Bamboom all over my lid and lower lash line.
I used Coastal Scents 88 Palette's Copper Gold color all over my lid and blended out just above the crease with the fluffy crease brush.
I lined my bottom lashline with a Mint Eye Kohl from Sephora.
Then I used the small crease brush and used a turquoise color on my water line and lower lash line and blended it out. I spritz M.A.C's fix plus on the small crease brush and brushed it against the line I made with the turquoise. It helps set the color even longer. I lined the water line with the M.A.C black eye kohl and used white eyeshadow to catch the line in my inner corner.

I applied Wet N' Wild's liquid eyeliner in black as close to my lashes as possible.
I applied two coats of Falsies Mascara and spritz my face with M.A.C's Fix (+).

I applied Mattese Elite's blush in Pink Lady on the apples of my cheeks and blended upwards.

Lastly, I used Victoria's Secret's Baby Doll Lip Glass on my lips and put on smile and called it a day.

Try it out on yourself and email them to me @ ColourMeBonita@gmail.com
Best Pics will be posted on this site. :)

Fashion IS self-expression.
Who we are, is what we wear.
From the fabric,to the style and colors; it is the essence of us.

I actually like this outfit.
I've got on a Mickey Mouse Disney Couture Shirt.
A Bleached Denim Motorcycle vest from some local clothing store in my neighborhood called Pink Bella.
A Pair of yellow skinny jeans from V.I.M.S.
and black mid-calf faux leather pointed flat boots from Michael Antonio.

This Outfit made me feel super kick ass.
I felt beyond confident and more sure of myself then ever.
It was then that I realized that fashion is more than just a cover up for your nude body lol.

I don't have a specific style. I just like to look good.
I'm Chic, Boho, Glam, rocker-chic, preppy, urban, and classic at any given moment.
It constanly changes which says alot about my character. I'm indecisive, carefree, opininated, confident, self-assured and independent.

What does your clothing say about you?
